Daniel is a lawyer admitted to the Bar in the DRC and a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Kinshasa. His practice focuses on corporate law, labour law, public procurement law, public-private partnerships (PPP), as well as natural resources and mining law. He also advises on litigation, insolvency and restructuring proceedings, secured transactions, and enforcement.
He has significant experience in the mining, energy, and natural resources sectors. He holds a law degree from the University of Kinshasa, with specialisations in human rights, natural resources management, and sustainable development, and is currently pursuing a Diplôme d’Études Supérieures (DES), equivalent to a Master’s degree (LL.M), in economic and social law. Daniel advises local and international companies, investors, and institutions. He works in French and English, and also speaks Lingala, Tshiluba, and Swahili.
